At Byrd Brothers Chess, we understand that our baby birds have different incubating needs in their various egg states and require altricial care in their development. Students usually have default styles ranging from aggressive tacticians, risk-averse positional tanks, or balanced counter-punchers. Our passion is to balance our young eagles, be more assertive and take more calculated risks if they are too passive, or learn to be more positional to avoid recklessness if naturally impatiently tactical. Chess involves many rules, as does a life that, regardless of default style, requires adherence to and develops discipline when navigating the board (life).
